Day Thirteen - Kites

Added on by Paul Wood.

We rode a hundred km today. Maybe more actually, I haven't mapped it yet. We ended up in Weifang for the night. Weifang is the birthplace of kites. The first kite was flown here long long ago according to Chinese myth or history. I apparently lost two important things. A pair of undies and my odometer. So tomorrow I'll be using Strava to estimate my distance and average speed. Of course I always have my iPhone to check my position on the map.

Tonight is the last night I'll have with the group. Tomorrow they detour around the Shandong peninsula. While I'm going straight to Qingdao.

I'll write more about the group of guys later.
